Description and materials
- New edition of the popular Echo SL 26” fork, one of the lightest aluminium forks available!
- This is a completely re-designed version, designed from scratch in order to introduce new improvements and updates.
- Made of high quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, to ensure high strength and reliability.
- Features a standard 1 1/8” diameter steerer tube.
- The steerer tube is machined in one piece to optimize stiffness, and it is 5mm thick at the top, tapering to 9mm at the bottom, so it provides the perfect balance between high strength and stiffness, and moderate weight.
- The bottom of the steerer tube is machined with the optimal angle so that it’s no longer necessary to install a crown race: the bearing sits directly onto the tube.
- Special leg curvatures increase frontal stability and maximize welding surface.
- CNC machined dropouts and brake mounts.
- Available with IS-type (International Standard) disc brake mounts.
- Includes the star nut, already installed.
- Available in anodized black, with silver Echo graphics.
 
Compatibility
- This fork’s steerer tube is standard, and it has a 1 1/8” diameter.
- This fork can also be used on 24” bikes (only the disc brake version).
- This fork has IS disc brake mounts, therefore make sure to install a IS disc brake. IS calipers bolt sideways onto the brake mounts (instead of sitting onto them, like Post Mount calipers).
