- New single-walled 19” rear rim from innovative French brand Hashtagg for the 2015 season.
- This is a unique rim exclusively designed by Hashtagg after months of testing by Multi-Time UCI World Champion Vincent Hermance.
- Features a W-shaped profile, instead of the traditional U-shaped design.
- The W shape is ideal to accommodate the spokes, which laze to the rim at a certain angle; this allows for an easier, stiffer, more compact wheel build.
- It also helps fitting the tyre, avoiding it from coming off with low pressures.
- Furthermore, larger sidewalls and superior stiffness ensure top braking performance when used with rim brakes.
- Now, the centre of the rim is inserted between the sidewalls, which increases sidewall stiffness considerably while braking.
- 47 mm wide design, which guarantees unmatchable stability on the back wheel, even at the lowest pressures.
- Large sidewalls (14 mm) ensure more than enough room for the pad and offer a better braking performance.
- Super light single-walled construction, with customized holes, saving a good few grams without compromising its strength.
- Features an special heat treatment that improves braking performance, so it’s ideal for using with rim brakes.
- 32 spoke holes orientated on the rim sides, great to use shorter spokes and therefore make an easier, stronger and stiffer wheel build.
- Available in anodized black or silver finish.
