Description and materials
- New hydraulic rim brake CSC X-66, the new creation from the young Asian brand CSC.
- Suitable for 38-48mm rims.
- This is a new concept of hydraulic rim brake, which mixes the technology of a disc brake, with the amazing performance of a rim brake.
- Features completely re-designed slave cylinders, that now integrate the 4-bolt mounts in a single-piece of 2014 T6 aluminium, to directly screw the cylinders to the forks/frame. This means now it’s way easier than before to set up the brake.
- This new design allows you to rotate the cylinder in order to get the desired pad setup, and then tighten it easily with 2 small Allen bolts.
- Each slave cylinder includes a little spring that ensures a fast pad response, going through the pad and fitting again to the slave cylinder.
- Lever body made from high quality 2014 T6 aluminium.
- 2- finger lever blade (75mm), with a minimalist, much more ergonomic design which ensures a comfortable position for the finger.
- Symmetric lever body means it can be used for both the front or rear brake.
- An Allen bolt allows you to adjust the pad-rim distance, as seen in the TPA of a Magura HS33.
- Now you can adjust the lever reach with an Allen bolt located at the front of the lever body.
- Built-in handlebar clamp, with only one bolt.
- New bleed port system features a port located on the front of the brake lever, above the main hose.
- 116mm (rear brake) or 71mm (front brake) hose.
- Includes aluminium cylinders to protect the hoses at the cylinder/lever joint.
- CSC Red pads supplied with the brake.
- Comes bled with high quality mineral oil.
- Available with anodized black lever body and silver lever blade and cylinders.
Finishes
- Available with anodized black lever body and silver lever blade and cylinders.
Weight
- 220g (front) and 233g
