Description and materials
- New version of the innovative Hashtagg BB30 crankset, with multiple updates and improvements for the 2016 season.
- Re-designed cranks, now 20g lighter and with increased stiffness.
- The axle has also been revised, and it’s now 30g lighter than before.
- Includes the new Hashtagg 120.9 18T freewheel, with 120 engagement points and 9 pawls, and a new ratchet design, welded to the main body for increased strength and durability. Its Splined design allows for much easier removal when compared to standard threaded freewheels.
- Keeps the same assembly principle from the previous version: the right hand crank and axle are made in a single piece, which helps save unnecessary weight while increasing stiffness considerably.
- Compatible with 68mm BB tubes with a standard 1.37”x24t thread.
- Both cranks and axle are CNC-machined from high quality 7075-T6 aluminium alloy.
- The right hand crank is attached to the 30mm axle and it’s not detachable; the left-hand crank is embedded in a toothed system and affixed with an M6 Allen bolt.
- Please note: the left crank’s pre-load bolt must not be tightened too much, just a little bit to keep the crank in place. The M6 Allen bolt is the one that should be tightened, always applying less than 10Nm.
- External 42mm sealed cartridge bearings, which minimize friction and help keep out mud, dust and water.
- The 170mm version comes with an ultra-light, CNC-machinfd Hashtagg Hashring bashring.
- 2 options available: 160mm or 170mm.

Finishes
- Cranks have a polished silver finish with silver laser etched Hashtagg graphics, whereas cups, axle, bashring and freewheel come in anodized black.

Additional information
Please note: when fitting or removing these cups, you must use an open BB30 key, and not the usual bottom bracket key.
