Description and materials
- New single-walled 26” front rim from innovative French brand Hashtagg for the 2015 season.
- This is a unique rim exclusively designed by Hashtagg after months of testing by Multi-Time UCI World Champion Vincent Hermance.
- Features a W-shaped profile, instead of the traditional U-shaped design.
- The W shape is ideal to accommodate the spokes, which laze to the rim at a certain angle; this allows for an easier, stiffer, more compact wheel build.
- It also helps fitting the tyre, avoiding it from coming off with low pressures.
- Super light construction with customized CNC-machined holes, which save a good few grams without compromising overall strength.
- The holes next to the valve hole have a different shape, this allows enough room for three extra circular valve holes, thus saving more weight and allowing you to insert the valve into any of those four holes.
- Furthermore, its larger sidewalls and superior stiffness ensure top braking performance when used with rim brakes.
- Now, the centre of the rim is inserted between the sidewalls, which increases sidewall stiffness considerably while braking.
- 32mm wide, single-wall design, which offers the perfect balance between lightness and stability, even when riding with low tyre pressure.
- Large sidewalls (15mm) ensure more than enough room for the pad and offer a better braking performance.
- Features and special heat treatment that improves braking performance, so it’s ideal for using with rim brakes.
- 28 spoke holes orientated on the rim sides, great to use shorter spokes and therefore make an easier, stronger and stiffer wheel build.
- Available in anodized black or silver finish.
