Description and materials
- New version of the exclusive Echo SL platform pedals from Asian brand Echo.
- These pedals have been completely re-designed, aiming to reduce its weight while also improving grip and strength.
- Uses a slim CNC-machined platform, made of high quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy.
- The axle is made from super-high-quality Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy, which helps save a lot of weight compared to a steel axle, while keeping high strength and stiffness.
- The outer edges are joined to the centre through several nerves that add extra strength with almost no weight addition.
- 100mm wide design, which ensures a large contact area at all times.
- High quality, replaceable sealed bearings guarantee a smooth, reliable performance.
- Each pedals has 16 replaceable pins (8 on each side), optimally placed to provide maximum grip.
- They can be installed with a 15mm spanner.
- 3 different finishes available: anodized red, silver or black, with grey laser etched Echo graphics.
- Note: the pins in these pedals are not installed, they are supplied in a tiny bag with a special Echo tool to install them on the pedals.
Compatibility
- These pedals have a standard 9/16” thread, therefore they are compatible with all cranks with this pedal thread (most of them do!).
- Because the axle is made of titanium, it’s essential to apply some quality grease on the crank pedal threads to avoid any damage.
