Description and materials
- New high quality Bonz Pro Light 108.9 cassette-type freewheel, as a novelty on Bonz’s part range for the 2016 season.
- Now, this is a cassette-type freewheel, which means it isn’t threaded onto the crack, but it sits on the crank’s base splines.
- Both the main body and outer ring are made of high-strength hardened steel to ensure maximum wear and impact resistance.
- The splines on the freewheel are Shimano Splined, a very popular system that’s been used for decades in Mtb.
- Features 9 high-strength treated steel pawls, with 3 offset groups of 3 pawls into a 36 teeth ratchet, providing a total of 108 engagement points.
- High quality sealed bearing keeps the dirt out of the inner mechanism of the freewheel.
- Oversized springs guarantee increased reliability and durability.
- Available in black.
Compatibility
- This freewheel only fits cranks with Shimano-type splines on the freewheel base, like BB30 models from Clean and Crewkerz, the new Bonz BB24 cranks, etc.
- Not compatible with Hashtagg and Try-All BB30 cranks.
- Compatible with both 1/8” and 3/32” chains.

Additional Information
It is highly recommended to bed in the freewheel for a few hours before trials use to make sure any excess grease works away from the freewheel and the pawls work correctly.
If you want to speed up the process, just apply some oil between the outer teeth and the centre of the freewheel.
If you don’t bed in the freewheel before trials use, it won’t work correctly and will skip, therefore damaging the pawls and ratchet.
Damage occurred to the freewheel because of inappropriate use will void the guarantee.
