Description and materials
- High-quality Comas snail cams, specially designed for bike trials.
- Used and tested for months by Comas rider Eloi Palau.
- Snail cams for an easy chain tensioning by simply turning each tensioner: they push the rear wheel backwards until the chain is perfectly tight.
- Supplied as 1 steel AISI1055Â snail cam and 1 7075-T6 aluminium alloy snail cam.
- The steel snail cam must be installed on the drive side, which is usually subject to higher stress.
- The aluminium snail cam is lighter, and so it must be installed on the non-drive side.
- Compatible with frames with horizontal dropouts and 10mm rear hub axles.
- 49 small teeth on the outer edge allow for a perfect, precise chain setup.
- Moreover, they come with a slot that eases adjustment by using a #5 spanner.
- The steel tensioner has 6 different-sized holes that remove unnecessary material.
- Sold as a pair.
